RATING
An antique Tobacco or Opium pipe known as a Kiseru of unknown age. Hand crafted in metal and estimated to be from the 1800s with the signature of the craftsman. A similar pipe is in the collection of the British Museum.
Two ornately detailed metal dragons await the smoker on the body of the pipe. The mouthpiece and pipe end are also removable for cleaning. Pipes with larger bowls such as this were used for smoking both tobacco and opium. As a testament to its authenticity and age, signs of wear grace its surface (see images).
Approximate dimensions of the pipe are 26 cm length and 67 grams weight.
Shipping is via Australia Post and includes tracking and signature on delivery.
