This unique Inro from the early Meiji period 1870 to 1890s features an unusual quiet and understated design. Featuring a fine deep lacquered body with fine cut Nashiji gold flake suspended as if floating. A beautiful Ojime intricately hand carved of Staghorn and unusual Staghorn Manju complete the set. The Manju features an inset panel of Old Imari Porcelain with a blue under glaze Mountain landscape.
