A beautifully detailed and genuine small Oban tate-e woodblock print by Utamaro titled “The Widow of Hinodeya” Hinodeya Goke from the series “Renowned Beauties Likened to the Six Immortal Poets” with the seal of Utamaro hitsu. In excellent as new and unused condition with vibrant colours. Originally published in 1795/96 this publication by Adachi is from the late 20th Century on Echizen Kizuki Hosho Washi paper made by the national living treasure Ichibei Iwano.
Approximate dimensions of sheet are 32 cm height and 22 cm width.
