A skilfully hand crafted Two Case Lacquer Inro And Shi Shi Netsuke estimated to be from 1890 to early 1900’s. Embellished with a rust red Urushi Negoro lacquer outer and black Urushi lacquer inner. A river landscape of a Pagoda Castle with pine trees and bird front and verso. Finished with a beautifully crafted Dragon Cloisonne Ojime and a Stag Horn Netsuke of a Shi Shi Lion-Dog with a beetle riding on it’s back. In very good overall condition showing some signs of age and wear. (please see images).
Approximate dimensions of the Inro are body are 7.5 cm height and 7.5 cm wide.
