An antique Celadon Koro believed to have orginated from the Edo era 1860s or earlier. Featuring an beautifully hand carved cherry wood lid with an amber finial. Some repairs to damage on one side of the lid (see images) but still a beautiful and desirable item. The Celadon body is intact and in very good condition showing signs of age and use. Sold as is.
The approximate dimensions of the koro are height 9.5 cm and diameter 10 cm and weight 431 grams.
