Antique Red Coral And Mother of Pearl Kanzashi

A beautifully detailed and handmade Kogai from early 20th Century.  Set on black lacquer and using the traditional maki-e lacquering process.  It is embellished with flowers as well as a bird set in red coral and mother of pearl.

Dimensions 16.5 cm length.  The kogai is in good condition for an item of this age.
