A very delightful and authentic Antique Japanese Geisha doll standing on a black Urushi Lacquer base and wearing colourful Silk robes. She appears to have real hair and her eyes are crystal or glass. Her head and arms as well as her lower legs are made from traditional Gofun (a mixture of ground oyster shell).
She is in good overall condition for her age with a fine crack on her right cheek and part of her left thumb is missing (please see images). Her height is approximately 20 cm.
