RATING
A very finely worked and intricately detailed antique gold lacquer four part Inro from Japan’s Meiji era (1868 – 1912). Hand carved from Cherry Wood and finished with layers of takamaki-e raised gold lacquer. Decorated with Nashiji (gold flake) on the interior. Featuring a coral Ojime and a lacquered wooden Netsuke featuring a deity on a dragon.
Intricately rendered with meticulous attention to detail a sense of timelessness and in excellent condition preserving the vibrancy of the gold lacquer.
