A delightful signed Showa Era (1926 to 1989) Celadon Incense Burner from 1940s Japan. Hand painted under Celadon glaze with a sprig of chrysanthemums and signed on the base. The tripod legs, articulated lid and inside are also finished with Celadon glaze. A very dainty and stylish little koro in new and unused condition. There is a repair to one of the arms (see images). Sold as is.
The approximate dimensions of the koro are height 13.5 cm and weight 380 grams.
