Signed Arita Porcelain Incense Burner

A Meiji era Arita Imari Porcelain Incense Burner estimated age between 1890s to 1920s.  The Koro is hand painted and glazed in very striking blue and white geometric patterns.  There are also three encaustic embossed cartouche panels depicting a Princess Tree (paulownia leaves) and a bird.

The lid is also very unusual with an intricate open lattice of delicate geometric flowers.

The approximate dimensions of the Koro are Height 10 cm | Diameter 8.5 cm  | Weight 303 grams.
