A striking and detailed Showa Era Antique silk scroll painting depicting a tiger. Originally part of a Japanese kakejiku (hanging scroll) the colours are still bright and vibrant and show no signs of fading. Estimated to be from early Showa Era (1920s – 1940s) with the signature and seal of the artist on the lower left. In good condition overall with some foxing and toning to the artwork (see images). This makuri would look wonderful mounted and framed as a work of art.
Approximate dimensions are 150 cm length and 45 cm width.
This item will carefully rolled and packed for shipping in a tube. Shipping is via Australia Post and includes tracking and signature on delivery.
