A colourful and original Oban size woodblock print by an unnamed artist.  The Meiji Emperor is astride a horse and in military uniform outside the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.  The woodblock print is dated 1899 Meiji 32 NEN and is titled “Tokyo Meisho Koukyo Nijyubashi” which translates as Tokyo showplace Imperial Palace Nijyubashi.  There are minor signs of age on the print (see images).  The washi paper is intact and in good condition.

Approximate dimensions of sheet are 35.5 cm height and 24.4 cm width.  Approximate dimensions of print are 32 cm height and 21.5 cm width
