A beautifully detailed and perfectly proportioned original woodblock print by Nisaburo Ito titled “Magnolias”.   Masterfully hand carved and printed by Uchida on washi using the traditional woodblock print process.  This edition published in mid 20th Century  by Uchida and censors seals along with Artist seal are on the print. Kento cut on bottom right margin is further authenticity of a genuine woodblock print.

The woodblock print is in very good condition and has never been hung, framed or used.

The approximate dimensions of sheet are height 45 cm and width 30 cm.  The approximate dimensions of print 40.5 cm height and 27 cm width.

Shipping is via Australia Post and includes tracking and signature on delivery.

Nisaburo ITO (1910 – 1988)

Nisaburo Ito studied painting at Kyoto City Specialist School of Painting (now the Kyoto University of the Arts). He became famous for his depictions of landscapes as well as birds and flowers.
