A beautifully detailed Oban size woodblock print by Nisaburo Ito titled “Crepe Myrtle”. Masterfully hand carved and printed on washi using the traditional woodblock print process. This edition published in mid 20th Century with the Artist seal on the lower left of the print.
The woodblock print is in very good condition and has never been hung, framed or used.
The approximate dimensions of sheet are height 29 cm and width 27 cm. Shipping is via Australia Post and includes tracking and signature on delivery.

Nisaburo Ito studied painting at Kyoto City Specialist School of Painting (now the Kyoto University of the Arts). He became famous for his depictions of landscapes as well as birds and flowers.
