RATING
This is an original Type 2 Imperial Japanese Army 4.1 Combat Wound Medal – Shoigunjinsho 傷痍軍人記章. This is the rare Solid Silver Gilded version Senshou which was awarded only to NCOs and Officers for wounds sustained in battle during Wartime.
This particular Medal was awarded late in 1939 for wounds sustained during Japan’s military action in the South Pacific during the second Sino Japan War of 1931 -1945 as is indicated by the Kanji on the reverse of the Medal.
The Medal ships with its original velvet lined Kiri Wood Presentation Box. Very rare to find especially in such excellent condition.
Shipping is via Australia Post and includes tracking.
