Imperial Japanese Army Type 4.1 Combat Wound Medal Shoigunjinsho 傷痍軍人記章.  Solid silver gilted Senshou (wounded in battle).  Medal Awarded late 1930s for wounds sustained during military action in the South Pacific second Sino – Japan War of 1931 -1945 as indicated by the Kanji on the reverse of the medal. Medal ships with original velvet lined Kiri wood presentation box.
