This print is already mounted to Museum Conservation Standard ready for framing. Utagawa Ando Hiroshige Woodblock Print of the Great Sanjo Bridge from the late 1830’s. Kyoka Tokaido Edition of the 53 Stations of the Tokaido Road. Series by Utagawa (Ando) Hiroshige (1797-1858). Taisho era, 1900-1920’s re-carved printing. This Edition named Kyoka Edition (or Sanoki Tokaido) for the comic poem (Kyoka) on each print.
Station #55 Kyoto shows the Great Sanjo Bridge, with many figures crossing the bridge with, Kyoto City and mountains beyond. Poem top of print.
