A beautifully detailed and genuine small Oban tate-e woodblock print by Utamaro titled “Tatsumi Roko” from the series “Renowned Beauties Likened to the Six Immortal Poets” with the seal of Utamaro hitsu. A young beauty is depicted putting the final touches to her hair. In excellent as new and unused condition with vibrant colours. Originally published in 1795/96 this publication by Adachi is from the late 20th Century on Echizen Kizuki Hosho Washi paper made by the national living treasure Ichibei Iwano.
Approximate dimensions of sheet are 31.5 cm height and 22 cm width.
