Original Kin-u Takeshita Autumn Flower Cart Woodblock Print
A beautiful first edition from the 1930’s this dynamic woodblock print titled Flower Cart In Autumn is signed and sealed by Takeshita. Hand carved and printed on genuine Mulberry Bark hand crafted Washi paper. This is a sister print to Takeshita’s Spring Flower Cart. Together they would make an excellent colourful and dynamic display! Excellent fine detail and colours. Publisher: Uchida
Foxing is evident with humidity or moisture staining to the top right corner of the print. A few wrinkles as shown in the pictures. Despite this the colours are bright and vibrant indicating this to be an early print from this series (please see images).
Takeshita was active from the early shin hunga era 1930s to the 1950s.
