Kasasagi Joins Love Our Street And Beach Patrol Program
Kasasagi Fine Arts recently joined the Love Our Street 3147 Program. One of the activities we carry out is a monthly collection of rubbish from a public area in postcode 3147.
Last Sunday 3 September 2023 (Fathers Day) was at the Woolworths Carpark in Ashwood. Over one hour the Team collected just over 15 kilograms of rubbish. We found many items including cigarette butts, syringes, plastic, bottle caps, bottles and cans. Among the rubbish we collected we will be recycling as many items as possible in our local bins.
Love Our Street and the Beach Patrol Program beachpatrol.com.au are committed to reduce rubbish from our waterways. Any rubbish we collect helps to reduce the amount of rubbish that makes its way into our Rivers and the Ocean.
We are a small Team representative of a small geographic area in Melbourne. We hope our work inspires you to start a chapter for your suburb. Lets expand the good work being done by many volunteers in Victoria.
Lets make our Rivers and Oceans a better and safer place for all of us to co-exist in.
