Two Kakiemon Style Covered Bowls

A striking pair of Kakiemon Style Covered Bowls.  Beautifully hand painted underglaze with vibrant colours and in good condition.  Chrysanthemums and sasaki leaves with gold pigment highlights in the design and origami cranes decorate the inside base of each bowl and lid.

Approximate Dimensions of each bowl are  diameter 12.5 cm and height 8 cm.  Weight of both bowls is 691 grams.
