An early 20th Century large Lacquer lidded confectionery box in the shape of a Sea Bream. Finely hand carved in the shape of a yellow bellied red sea bream, a dark red body and black lacquer interior. The scales and fin are beautifully detailed and finished in red lacquer and the tail and fin are also decorative handles.
The approximate dimensions are 457 grams weight and 40 cm x 20 cm and 6.5 cm depth.
