Small Antique Japanese Porcelain Koro

A rare find of a delightful little antique koro from early 20th century Japan. Small koros such as this one were popular for use by merchants travelling around Japan.  This koro has managed to survive the travels and is intact and in good condition.  Blue and white hand painted under glaze porcelain panels depicting a botanical scene and flower motifs and an owl finial on the little lid.

In very good condition with no cracks or chips.
