Six antique Japanese Kashiki plates from the Meiji period, estimated to be late 1800s. Black Urushi lacquer low lipped plates. Hand carved cherry or cedar wood each featuring a different botanical design in gold maki.
The plates are in overall good condition with visible signs of age and use with minor scuffs and scratches.
Approximate dimensions are total weight of 6 plates – 590 grams and 17.5 cm diameter.
