Antique bronze clasp used on Tobacco Pouches and purses.  Beautifully detailed and featuring two Rats.  Signed Komei with the dragonfly symbol of the Komei factory inside the clasp.  Daikoku, one of the seven deities in Japanese mythology used rats as his messenger. The Rat also served as a companion for Daikoku and was considered a symbol of riches and plentiful harvest.

In very good condition overall.
