Antique bronze clasp used on Tobacco Pouches and purses.  Beautifully detailed and featuring two mice.  Signed Kome with the dragonfly symbol of the Komei factory inside the clasp.  Mice are considered a symbol of innocence in eastern culture and highly regarded for their ability to survive in the harshest conditions.  Daikoku, one of the seven deities in Japanese mythology used rodents as his messenger.

In very good condition overall.
