A rare Kutani Tokkuri Japanese Army Sake Bottle from the Second Sino Japan War. Depicting a bird perching on a branch of Japanese apricot (Ume) Bough.  The Japanese Imperial Arm Star is hand painted above the words Nisshi Gaisen Kinen (Triumphant return from the 2nd Sino Japanese War with the soldier’s name “Sakashita”.  The Kutani signature is featured on the base of the bottle.

Approximate dimensions are 14.4 cm height and 7.7 cm width.
