Rare Signed Childs Noh Theatre Mask

An exceedingly rare Childrens Noh Kagura Theatre Mask.

The Noh Mask features in many Noh and Kyogen Japanese plays as well as Shinto ritual Kagura dances.  A single piece of Cypress wood was traditionally used to hand carge Noh and Kabuki masks.  The mask is in excellent condition and bears the signature of the artist Takayuki on the reverse.
