A bone china pre World War II Japanese sake cup.

Hand painted in gold pigment is the Imperial Japanese flag and  sakura or cherry blossoms along with gold pigment writing and a red seal.

There are 2 chips on either side of the rim of the cup.

Dimensions of the cup are 10.5 cm diameter and 4.5 cm height
