An extremely rare and beautifully detailed original woodblock print by Utagawa Kunitsuna (1805-1868) a pupil of Utagawa Kunisada. Vibrantly coloured and depicting the famous actor Bando Mitsubora in a Noh Play. A genuine polychrome woodblock print ink and colour pigment on washi paper with excellent detail and colour. The print is in excellent condition for its age with good bleed through to the verso.
Approximate Dimensions of Sheet are 36.5 cm height and 35 cm width. Approximate dimensions of print are 36 cm height and 24.5 cm width.
