A beautiful 1930’s first edition woodblock print by Kin-u Takeshita titled Spring Flower Cart. Hand carved and printed on Washi paper with the signature and seal of the artist. Excellent fine detail and colours. Publisher: Uchida
There is foxing and yellowing on the the print. There are also tears and wrinkles to the edges as shown in the pictures. Despite this the colours are fully vibrant indicating this is an early print in the series.
Takeshita was active from the early 1930s to the 1950s.
