A masterfully created large Satsuma Obi buckle featuring scenes of Mount Fuji which has been transformed into a pendant. Preserving the original art and craftsmanship a silver fitting has been added to create a unique and wearable work of art. The original mixed metal backing is still intact. The front features an eggshell porcelain gilded panel intricately detailed with a scene depicting Mount Fuji and wildflowers. Real gold has been used to embellish the artwork.
