A Japanese Premium Leather And Lacquer Handbag in a Classic design. Curated by Kasasagi and hand made in Japan from sustainably sourced deerskin with layers of lacquer. The lacquer design features intricately detailed chain of rings motifs. A wonderful combination of timeless elegance in a durable handbag.
Featuring a chromed steel frame internal purse or cosmetics pouch in the middle, and an open pouch on either side. There is a zippered pocket on the wall of each pouch area. An embossed Chain of Rings pattern applied using many layers of Urushi lacquer over several weeks decorate the handbag.
Soft Deerskin leather and very durable Japanese Urushi lacquer combine to create a premium product which is very flexible and strong. Intricate lacquer patterns are carefully applied and the finished product is beautiful as well as durable and will last for many years to come.
Approximate Dimensions of the handbag are 32 cm width and 21.5 cm height and a depth of 13 cm. The handbag also ships in a cloth bag inside a custom made box.

The craft of Inden started in 1582 during the Sengoku period for the production of some of the garments used for Samurai armours.
