Japanese Gold Cranes Lacquer Document Box
From our collection is this mid 20th Century Japanese Lacquer Document box. Featuring Black Urushi Lacquer on the outside and nashiji gold flakes on the inside. A pair of gold cranes beside a pine tree adorn the lid of the box which has a makers stamp in red lacquer. In very good condition with no chips or cracks (see images).
Approximate dimensions are 23.5 cm length and 19.5 cm width. Approximate height is 2 cm and weight is 365 grams.
