Among these works are his flower and bird pictures many of which are framed in a vertical rectangle. The woodblock print in very good condition.
Originally printed in the 1830s this is a later print from the 1970s. Published by The Uchida Art Company Ltd.

Utagawa Hiroshige also known as Andō Hiroshige 1797 to 1858. Hiroshige was the last great master of the ukiyo-e tradition.
Hiroshige is famous for his landscapes as well as his depictions of birds and flowers. He also created series such as the Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido and the Sixty-nine Stations of the Kiso Kaido.
