The view of Mount Fuji is virtually unobstructed from the place called Hara which means “field”. Two women, accompanied by a male attendant are awestruck by the breathtaking view and the majestic height of the mountain. In the wetlands, two Japanese cranes rest their wings. Originally published 1833 – 1934. This publication mid 20th Century.

Utagawa Hiroshige also known as Andō Hiroshige 1797 to 1858. Hiroshige was the last great master of the ukiyo-e tradition.
Hiroshige is famous for his landscapes as well as his depictions of birds and flowers. He also many other series including the Sixty-nine Stations of the Kiso Kaido.
