The Artisan Seal as well as the Signature are present on the print and margins.  Set on a striking silver mica background with very unique composition and colours. Featuring a small bird perched among roses on a bold raspberry red background. The tender colours of the bird and the pale yellow blossoms and green are a striking contrast.

This is a re-carved edition of a charming uchiwa-e print by Utagawa Hiroshige II by the renowned Tokyo publisher Oedo Mokuhansha.

The print ships already Mounted to Museum Conservation Standard and ready for framing.

Hiroshige II (1829-1869) was called Shigenobu in his early days. He was a disciple and also the adopted son of the great ukiyo-e master Hiroshige I.
