A beautifully detailed mid 20th C kacho-e woodblock fan print by Ando Hiroshige.  Already mounted to Museum Conservation Standard and ready for framing. The Artisan Seal as well as the Signature are present on the print and margins.  Set on a striking silver mica background with very unique composition and colours. Featuring a small bird perched among roses on a bold raspberry red background. The tender colours of the bird and the pale yellow blossoms and green are a striking contrast.

This is a re-carved edition of a charming uchiwa-e print by Utagawa Hiroshige II by the renowned Tokyo publisher Oedo Mokuhansha.

The print ships already Mounted to Museum Conservation Standard and ready for framing.

Ando Hiroshige II (1829-1869) was called Shigenobu in his early days. He was a disciple and also the adopted son of the great ukiyo-e master Hiroshige I.
