From the famous series by Ando Hiroshige 36 Views of Mount Fuji title page also known as Fuji Sanjyu Rokkei.  A woodblock print of the Title Page and Table of Contents from the famous 1858 series and printed on handmade washi.  This series is considered to be Hiroshige’s best work.  The prints depict Mount Fuji in differing seasons and weather conditions from a variety of different places and also from different distances.  This series in landscape orientation was originally created in 1858 just prior to his death.  This print is genuine woodblock reprint from the 1970s and is in excellent condition.  Signed Ryusai Hiroshige | Publisher Tsutaya Kichizo (Ioeido) | Censor’s Seal Goat 6 Aratame
