A Original Signed and Limited Edition Lifetime Woodblock Print by Fu Takenaka depicting an owl.  Pencil signed by the artist the print is new and unused and is numbered 25 of 25 prints.

Approximate dimensions of sheet are 22 cm Height and 16.5 cm Width.

Since her departure Fu’s sister has been authenticating reproduction woodblock prints with her original red seal.  Kasasagi woodblock prints by Fu are original and pencil signed by her before her departure.

Shipping is via Australia Post with Tracking and signature.

TAKENAKA, FU 1945 – 2022. Fu Takenaka was one of a small number of female woodblock print artists in Japan.  She worked for a design company and received her second prize in the Fibre Design Council in 1964. In 2003 she began Creating Woodblock Prints and Received an Award in 2008 in the Ban-in Exhibition.
