A Lifetime Signed Limited Edition Woodblock Print of Hirano Shrine in Kyoto Japan by Fu Takenaka (1945 – 2022).  Located close to the famous Golden Pavillion it is famous as one of the best places to view Cherry Blossoms when they are flowering.

This print is numbered 46 of 200.  The artists pencil signature and seal are on the print.

Approximate dimensions of sheet are 39.5 cm height and 27 cm width.  The print dimensions are 32.5 cm height and 22 cm width.

Since her departure Fu’s sister has been authenticating reproduction woodblock prints with her original red seal.  Kasasagi woodblock prints by Fu are pencil signed, original and pre dated her departure.

Shipping is via Australia Post with Tracking and signature on delivery.

TAKENAKA, FU 1945 – 2022. Fu Takenaka was one of a small number of female woodblock print artists in Japan.  She worked for a design company and received her second prize in the Fibre Design Council in 1964. In 2003 she began Creating Woodblock Prints and Received an Award in 2008 in the Ban-in Exhibition.
