Edo Era Bronze And Silver Three Seasons Koro

An intricately detailed and exquisitely hand crafted large Bronze antique incense burner.  Three panels depict the seasons with bamboo, pine and plum blossom trees. Masterfully hand crafted by a craftsman from the Edo era and featuring an articulated silver lid. Each tripod leg depicts the trunk of the bamboo, pine and plum blossom trees on the body.

The koro also ships with a signed custom made and signed kiri wood box.  A stunning and substantial koro weighing in at 1.324 kilograms.  The total weight with the box is 1.890 kilograms.  Approximate dimensions are 15 cm diameter and 15 cm height.
