Estimated to be from early to mid 1800’s Japan and depicting a rural scene during cherry blossom season. Featuring a thatched abode shaded by a blooming cherry blossom tree and flowering plants in gold and silver inlays. A spreading branch with gold and silver inlays of flowering cherry blossoms also adorns the reverse of the Tsuba.
