Antique Signed Bronze Koro With Openwork Lid

A very substantial antique signed bronze koro weighing in a 454 grams.  Bronze body with bronze and copper openwork lid and artist signature on the base.  Estimated to be from the late EDO to early Meiji era (1860s to 1890s).

In good overall condition with signs of age and use (please see images).

Approximate dimensions are 9 cm diameter and 5.7 cm height
