An antique Satsuma Wisteria Pendant on a chain converted from a belt buckle. Encased in a silver backing, the front features the distinctive glaze and fine crackles associated with Satsuma porcelain. The detailed enamel work showcases wisterias with a blue border. Real gold has been used to embellish the artwork on the panel. The original backing is still intact. Preserving the original art and craftsmanship a sterling silver fitting has been added to create a unique and wearable work of art.
Using antique and vintage objects sourced from Japan we transform them into wearable works of art in our Melbourne workshop.
