An antique Satsuma Mount Fuji Pendant on a chain converted from a belt buckle. Encased in a silver backing, the front features the distinctive glaze and fine crackles associated with Satsuma porcelain. The detailed enamel work showcases Mount Fuji and flower and foliage designs. Real gold has been used to embellish the artwork on the panel and the gold border. The original backing is still intact. Preserving the original art and craftsmanship a sterling silver fitting has been added to create a unique and wearable work of art.
Using antique and vintage objects sourced from Japan we transform them into wearable works of art in our Melbourne workshop.
