An early 20th Century Satsuma pottery koro. Hand painted in black and over glazed in gold with a pagoda and a mountain and lake scene. The openwork lid of the koro is also hand painted in gold and the Satsuma seal is on the base. The koro is in very good condition for an item of this age.
The approximate dimensions of the koro are 10 cm total height with lid and 8 cm without lid and a diameter of 8.5 cm. The koro weighs approximately 293 grams.
