A early 1900’s Japanese Calligraphy set complete with Inkstone and Suiteki (water dropper).  Intricate Urushi Gold Lacquer and hand crafted Mother of Pearl floral embellishments to the lid and rich red Urushi Lacquer finish inside.  Complete with Suiteki water dropper and high quality Ink Stone.  The gold pigment writing on the inside lid reads as “Commemorating the retirement of Murasaki Toji”.  In excellent condition for its age.

Approximate dimensions are 24.5  cm length and 3 cm height.
