Antique Kutani Signed Porcelain Incense Burner 1
A very striking Kutani koro from the 1890s to 1910s. Hand painted under glaze using traditional Kutani methods and featuring a shi shi lion finial on the lid. Alternate panels depict a pine tree and peacock and a river scene with a house and boat and a range of mountains in the background. The sides feature detailed hand painted geomatric patterns.
Signed on the base and with a signed kiri wood box it is in very good condition.

Alternate panels depict a pine tree and peacock and a river scene with a house and boat and a range of mountains in the background. The sides feature detailed hand painted geometric patterns.
Signed on the base and with a signed kiri wood box it is in very good condition.
