Antique Japanese Wooden Temple Frieze

Intricately hand carved Cherry Wood or Cypress Temple Frieze from 1880s to 1890s.  The seal of the carver is engraved on the back of the Frieze.  In very good condition with signs of wear and age (see images).

Approximate dimensions 33.5 cm length and 2.5 cm depth.  Approximate weight 612 grams.
