Antique Deity Shou Lao God of Longevity

A ancient Japanese figurine of Shou Lao Chinese God of Longevity hand carved from a solid piece of timber of unknown origin maybe Rose or Cherry wood. Estimated to be 600 years old from Japan’s Kamakura era.  Shou Lao is the Chinese God of Longevity and one of the three Daoist Gods of Fu (Good fortune) Lu (Prosperity) Shou (Longevity)

He has a very prominent forehead and is carrying a ruyi sceptre in his left hand.  Shou Lao has long flowing robes and is covered with silver inlaid as ruyi head clouds.  One eye is missing and the other eye is made from Black Coral.

Approximate dimensions are 30 cm height and 7 cm width and  7 cm depth.  Weight of figurine is 550 Grams.  Weight with box 1.150 kg.

Shou Lao comes with a wooden box.  It is a very old antiquity with visible of signs appropriate to its age including some cracks and chips (please see images).
