A delightful tea ceremony teaset from 1940s Japan. 1940s Karatsu Yaki Tea Ceremony Tea Set with teapot, yusamashi bowl and 5 teacups in original wooden box. Hand painted in Aochibu style with gold on a green background. In very good condition with no chips or cracks and minor signs of wear.

The Artist’s seal is on the base on each item. Total weight including box is approximately 800 grams.
